In order to be on campus during the school day as a volunteer in the classroom or with PTO, you first have to be cleared annually as an approved LAUSD Volunteer. This is a district-wide approval process that ensures every adult on campus has been screened through Megan's Law, has been reviewed by the Principal, and has permission to be there.

Step 1:

Complete the online LAUSD volunteer application. (https://haynescharter.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=72839709531336fb71c427929&id=0e7ebda847&e=4fea69642e)


 

Step 2:

Submit proof of recent TB test (within the last 60 days)
 

Step 3:

The application then goes to processing with the district. (It can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on their backlog.)
